This vehicle is in amazing like new condition. One owner, with only 4864 miles. Always garaged, the exterior is in showroom condition with no scratches, dents or blemishes. Interior is also like new. A very rare find, and possibly the lowest mileage turbo r on the planet. Drives excellent, ac works as well as all power accesories, including the original cellular phone and wool floor mats. Inspections are welcome. These vehicles were truly handmade, in England with excellent craftsmanship. Below is exceprt from Hemmings, After decades of being little more than re-badged Rolls-Royces, Bentleys--real, W.O.-style, genuine performance-luxury motorcars--were back in a big way when the Turbo R made its debut at the 1985 Geneva Motor Show. It wouldn' t be until 1989 that exceedingly well-heeled Americans could purchase their own Turbo Rs, but those who did got a taste of what the brand had promised in its earliest days, and what it would evolve back to in the decades to come. While the Turbo R--sold here in its original form through 1994--was appropriately expensive, its current values are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering what a Bentley costs today.Developed from the limited-production Bentley Mulsanne Turbo--a high-performance variant of Rolls-Royce' s new-in-1980 Silver Spirit--the Turbo R was powered by an all-aluminum, Bosch fuel-injected, turbocharged and intercooled 6, 750cc (412-cu.in.) V-8 engine. The distinguished firm followed Rolls-Royce' s tradition of demurring about power output (preferring to answer, in a tongue-in-cheek manner for this special car, "sufficient, plus 30 percent"), but estimates suggested a genuine 300hp and almost 500-lbs.ft. of torque. These figures were backed up by its 6.7-second 0-60 MPH sprint and 135-plus MPH top speed: not bad for a 5, 270-pound four-door containing enough leather, wool and wood to outfit the library at Downton Abbey. The trade-off? An EPA combined rating of 9 MPG.A long-wheelbase Turbo RL was added to the line in 1992, helping push Bentley' s U.S. sales from 144 in 1991 to 196 in 1993. Worldwide production of the first-generation Turbo R was 4, 653 cars between 1985 and 1994, with an additional 1, 211 long-wheelbase models from 1992-' 94. The Turbo RL models favor passengers over drivers, but they hold their value very well. A last-year RL can still fetch an impressive $75, 000 in average condition, $13, 000 more than an equivalent 1994 short-wheelbase R.Those prices may not seem like bargains, but first and second-year models are considerably less expensive: A solid driver with higher mileage and average wear can be had for between $20, 000 and $30, 000, although a top-condition, low-mile example can still command $55, 000. These hand-built cars were over-engineered, and their mechanicals are suitably bulletproof, with proper maintenance. R.
