Do you want to play guitar? Have you played before and are looking to take your playing to the next level, or are you a complete beginner? I’ve been playing guitar for twelve years. During that time I’ve passed on my knowledge to other guitar players, and have toured with a band up and down the east coast of the United States. I had guitar lessons for about 4 years until I started teaching myself.
In my lessons you will learn about,
- The necessary music theory to understand music structure
- How to properly maintain your guitar including tuning, restringing, intonation
- What a scale is and how to practice and play with scales
- How to play chords and melodies
- How to make chords
- Proper posture and practice techniques
- How to learn and play songs
- Musical terminology
- How to play by ear
You will also receive electronic documents related to lessons learned.
Lessons can be done in person as long as social distancing is maintained and masks are worn. Online lessons are doable, but much less effective.
Lesson prices are $40 per half hour. You must provide the strings for any restringing of your guitar.
