You can rent a variety of ocean survey equipment that you can use to complete your research including an ROV to carry the cameras and lights, a sensor array for all your measurements, and Acoustic Releases or sonar devices that are needed to take measurements and judge current. You may need to have all these items deployed at the same time because of the way that you are taking your measurements, and you can send all that data up to the boat with the winch’s data cable. You also need to remember that most people who are doing this kind of research need a winch that will hold and tow everything.
